Abstract

For my paper assignment in my Honors Cosmochemistry class, I studied three different gemstones from three different countries that I have special memories or relations in my life. I decided to research the Cairngorm gemstone from northern Scotland because my father was born in Scotland, the Clinohumite stone that was first discovered in Naples, Italy because I speak Italian and studied abroad there, and thirdly, the Azurite gemstone, whose first major source was discovered in Chessy, France because I speak French and have visited Paris.
