Abstract
In this paper, I set out to describe the life of Constantine the Great and his deep influence over and relationship with the Christian religion. Many of his actions (from what we know about them) were deeply contradictory, which makes drawing conclusions rather difficult. For this paper, I spent a lot of time reading historical sources that I would otherwise never have been exposed to. Though this is not within my area of study I truly enjoyed the research, and was fascinated by the subject.
