"One Step Forward, Two Steps Back"

Abstract
My research paper is an in-depth analysis on how the gender normative standards of today affect the gender discrimination and equality in the workplace. The question posed by my paper is one of great significance within the modern world. Even though the sociocultural dynamic of America has changed significantly within the past several years, there are still extreme differences between men and women. My paper targets the major issues within gender inequality such as the gender wage gap, gender bias and gender identity. In short, One Step Forward, Two Steps Back is my take on the current gender normative issues.
